Refund & Returns Policy
Overview
All products are considered special orders unless purchased directly from our current stock. We highly recommend you measure your available space before making a purchase, as we are unable to offer a refund due to items not fitting their intended space.
Items that are defective due to manufacturers error are only eligible for exchange.
Special Orders
All items purchased that are non-stock items are classed as special orders. These items are only returnable if they are damaged at point of manufacturer or by the delivery agents and must be returned in their original condition including any packaging. Please be aware that staff and representatives of Sam’s Furniture do take photographs of every delivery to eradicate any liability for for damage not caused by the company.
Stock Items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original unopened packaging.
A restocking and handling fee of 20% is chargable on all returned or cancelled items.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use or damage not caused by Sams Furniture for You or its representatives.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items that have not been assembled by a representetive of Sams Furniture For You, except in the case of parts missing or damaged.
Mattresses
Due to hygiene purposes, mattresses are non-returnable or refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 2 weeks of Sams Furniture For You receiving said goods.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 calendar days.
Where a partial refund is granted, a restocking fee of 20% will be charged. This is calculated before the partial refund.
Sale items
Sale items will only be refunded at the companies discretion. In these cases only the sale price will be refunded, less any fees.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. We will not exchange items if they have been damaged by yourselves. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should contact us. We will then instruct you on the next steps.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a representitive of Sams Furniture For You collects the item(s), then a collection fee may be applicable at the companys discretion.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
